Από το 5ο lp έχω να ενθουσιαστώ τόσο με κυκλοφορία τους. Στο διάστημα που μεσολάβησε, κάθε άλμπουμ με εκνεύριζε ακόμη περισσότερο από το προηγούμενο καθώς έμοιαζε να εχουν εγκαταλείψει κάθε ενδιαφέρον για τη σύνθεση προς αναζήτηση της επόμενης, ολοένα πιο κενής, καινοτομίας.

Με τo Oversteps επιστρέφουν στη δημιουργία εξαίσιων downtempo θεμάτων (r ess, treale), άμπιεντ ψυχεδέλειας(?) (Yuop, pt2ph8), ενώ δε διστάζουν να δείξουν την - πιο κοντινή σε συμβατικό τρόπο σύνθεσης- σχεδόν λυρική(!!) πλευρά τους (see on see).

Ειδική μνεία για το εξώφυλλο, φτιαγμένο από τον Ian Anderson, μπροστάρη των TDR και δημιουργό των περισσότερων και καλύτερων εξωφύλλων των Αe.

Η φωνή του Βάγκνερ με συγκινεί πάντα, εδώ διπλά, γιατί η αντίθεση που δημιουργείται με τη φωνή της νεαράς είναι μοναδική.

Ακατανόητα εθιστικός δίσκος όπως (σχεδόν) κάθε κυκλοφορία της Not Not Fun. Στα χέρια μου έπεσε πριν καμιά βδομάδα οπότε μπορεί σε λίγες μέρες να το μετανιώσω, ωστόσο στη θέση του θα μπορούσε να ήταν η συνεργασία της με τη Zola ή το split με τη Psychic Reality.

Το νέο label του Ed Upton aka EDMX /DMX KREW, έχει στο λογότυπό του μια φέτα ανανά (;) και lettering που θυμίζει παγωτοποιία. Κυκλοφορεί μόνο 7ιντσα (δύο έως τώρα) με vocoder boogie, moog disco, library funk και όσα υπο-ιδιώματα μπορούν να προκαλέσουν χορευτικές συμπεριφορές ανάλογες του περίφημου παραμυθιού του Hans Christian Andersen.
